The Zstor HA224NVSA is a high available and redundant all-NMVe storage appliance, delivering up to 720TB of NVMe Gen4 capacity with high speed network interfaces.
Each of the two redundant controller node has access to all 24 NVMe drives in a non-blocking architecture. The HA224NVSA is a dense high availability solution that provides the ultimate storage performance in a small package. As a fail-safe CiB solution that supports RDMA (Remote Direct Memory Access) over Converged Ethernet (RoCE) and iWARP as well as InfiniBand, the Zstor HA224NVSA storage appliance offers the best hardware for software-defined storage solutions. It alleviates job pipeline congestion, a common limitation caused by I/O bottlenecks in many highperformance applications, such as edge computing storage, analytics, machine learning, AI, OLTP databases, high frequency trading, as well as modeling, simulation, scientific research, and other HPC use cases.

High Performance
The amalgamation of AMD EPYC processors, NVMe drives, and Nvidia Networking Ethernet/Infiniband adapters propels a high-performance, non-blocking switchless PCIe 4.0 layout. This design mitigates congestion, ensuring superior virtualization efficiency, resource orchestration, and enhanced system and data protection.
Flexible Network Configuration and Capacity Expansion
Ethernet and Infiniband adapters featuring RDMA capabilities provide a technology that bypasses the operating system, accessing memory directly from another storage server node with reduced CPU load, lower latency, and heigher throughput. With speeds reaching up to 200 Gbit per port and supporting up to 8 ports per node, it ensures ample bandwidth for high-performance NVMe storage. Additional Zstor FE224NV NVMe Flash Enclosures can be seamlessly added, whether directly connected or via a fabric, offering scalable storage capacity expansion.
Applications Failure-free Operation Support
The implementation of power redundancy and a hot-swappable node design enhances operational reliability. The hot-swappable feature extends to all serviceable parts, simplifying maintenance and ensuring uninterrupted functionality.
