Ideal for Cluster Environments
Designed, equipped, and configured by Zstor, our JBODs are perfectly suited for shared storage in cluster environments. With Zstor's AJ-series, two nodes can easily share one or more attached JBODs. Supported operating systems include Windows Server 2022, 2019, 2016, 2012R2, as well as various Linux distributions such as Redhat, CentOS, Ubuntu, SUSE, and Solaris operating systems including Nexenta, OmniOS, and OpenIndiana with ZFS. The high-performance SAS interfaces ensure seamless data transfer of up to 12 Gb/s, providing optimal performance to the attached servers. With a robust chassis design and hot-swappable drive carriers, combined with reliable SAS I/O modules, you can confidently access a vast number of hard disk drives and/or high-performing solid-state disks.
Optimized for "Storage Spaces"
Our JBODs are designed to bring out the best in Microsoft Windows Server's "Storage Spaces" functionality. By leveraging Storage Spaces, you only need a "Bunch of Disks" (JBOD) for high-speed storage access. Storage Spaces allows you to manage the attached hard disk drives as Software Defined Storage, offering storage pools, data reliability, deduplication, file sharing (NFSv4, CIFS), iSCSI targets, and much more, including SMB 3.0/3.1 support. Zstor has extensively tested, configured, and certified our JBODs within Microsoft's certification process for seamless integration with Storage Spaces in Windows Server.
