The Zstor All-Flash NVMe Appliance in 1U utilizes the newest generation of NVMe SSDs in the smallest and energy efficient form factor of NF1/ M.3 or M.2 2280 or 22110. The PCIe switchless design with the usage of AMD EPYC CPU is the fastest and most efficient data throughput between processor power and storage. Through the flexible usage of up to 3x 100Gb/s Ethernet connection a sustainable system performance of 300 Gbps per appliance is possible.

Multiple Appliances provide a scale-out solution, expanding storage capacity to several Petabyte, and increasing performance as well as redundancy. Raid 0, 1, 10 or parity are supported for performance and redundancy.

Excelero’s Software-Defined Storage NVMesh enables customers to design Server SAN infrastructures for the most demanding enterprise and cloud-scale applications, leveraging standard servers and multiple tiers of flash. The primary benefit of NVMesh is that it enables true converged infrastructures by logically disaggregating storage from compute.

NVMesh is a Software-Defined Block Storage solution that features Elastic NVMe, a distributed block layer that allows unmodified applications to utilize pooled NVMe storage devices across a network at local speeds and latencies. Distributed NVMe storage resources are pooled with the ability to create arbitrary, dynamic block volumes that can be utilized by any host running the NVMesh block client. These virtual volumes can be striped, mirrored or both while enjoying centralized management, monitoring and administration. In short, applications can enjoy the low latency, high throughput and IOPS of a local NVMe device while at the same time getting the benefits of centralized, redundant storage.

Excelero NVMesh allows both disaggregated setups, with storage seperated from compute clusters and application servers, as well as (hyper)-converged setups where the appliances also run applications.
