The Titan storage software stack transforms Zstor NV- Serie with MX6300 NVMe solid-state devices into all flash shared storage arrays. NVMe over Fabric Flash storage arrays offer the highest performance and allow the reliability and management benefits of the MX6300 devices to be shared across many servers connected over industry-standard 25/40/50Gb/s, 56Gb/s RDMA networks including RoCE, iWARP and InfiniBand. The NV-Series offers the following characteristics:
   

Accelerate Application Response Time – NVMe storage read and write access over RDMA networks provides servers with data at nearly identical latencies as if they were accessing local PCIe SSDs; increasing application performance and providing over 3.0 M random 4K read and 2.25 M 4KB write IOPS.

Server Attached Flash – Allowing compute clusters to share low latency benefits of PCIe SSDs without having to put an SSD in every server dramatically reduces individual server costs and increases datacenter compute and storage rack density.

Scalability – Expand infrastructure one node at a time to reduce overprovisioning server Flash SSDs. Independently scale server and storage resources to match workload demands and improve efficiency. Easily scales from 10s to 100s of TB Flash deployments.

The NV-Series NVMe over Fabric Flash Storage Array uses RDMA network access to bring the low latency benefits of NVMe to a shared storage environment. It is an ideal scalable shared storage solution for clustered server environments including database, virtual desktop infrastructure and high-performance computing. Zstor storage solutions provide breakthrough levels of performance, using industry standard Ethernet or Infiniband switches. Performance starts at 12GB/sec from a single array, with approximately linear performance scaling as more arrays are added.

NVMe over RDMA read and write access to the array provide servers with data at nearly identical latencies as if they were accessing local PCIe SSDs. This allows compute clusters to realize the low latency application benefits of PCIe SSDs without having to put an SSD in every server.

Zstor’s performance optimized NV-Series arrays are based on Software Configurable MX6300-Series SSDs in combination with TITAN storage stack. TITAN provides unparalleled block storage access bandwidth and latency by combining NVMe, RDMA and multi-core technologies. TITAN optimizes the path from the network to the flash storage, reducing CPU overhead in the storage array, resulting in maximum bandwidth at the lowest latency. The TITAN storage stack also integrates with OpenStack Cinder and provides a very intuitive management framework for managing and monitoring volumes on the array.
